Overview
This project involved the complete transformation of a 2,612 sq. ft. single-story home severely affected by rising flood waters. The initial phase focused on essential remediation—removing all contaminated materials, promoting proper drying, and treating the structure with EPA-approved fungicide to ensure a safe foundation for rebuilding. Once the home was fully mitigated, a comprehensive interior remodel began, preserving the original foundation and general structure while reconfiguring the interiors. The home was redesigned to include 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a fully upgraded kitchen, garage, and dedicated laundry area. All major systems—plumbing, electrical, and HVAC—were installed brand-new, followed by premium finishes across all living spaces. The project will conclude with a final inspection to ensure all installations and finishes meet building codes and quality standards.
The Starting Point
Rising flood waters severely affected this 2,612-square-foot home, requiring extensive remediation and the removal of contaminated and water-damaged interior materials.
What We Did
01 — Flood Remediation & Mitigation
Removed drywall, affected insulation, baseboards, porous flooring, interior doors, and other water-damaged materials; implemented open-wall drying and applied EPA-approved fungicide for mold prevention.
02 — Interior Demolition & Rebuild
Completed internal demolition and installed new drywall, interior framing, windows, and insulation.
03 — Systems & Interior Finishes
Installed new plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems, plus flooring, baseboards, paint, kitchen and bathroom finishes, shelving, and interior doors.
04 — Final Inspection
Completed a final inspection to ensure all installations and finishes meet building codes and quality standards.
The Finished Space
The completed reconstruction transformed the home with new plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, along with reconfigured interiors featuring four bedrooms, four bathrooms, an upgraded kitchen, and premium finishes throughout.
